Social Media Guidelines

Introduction:
Social media is a powerful tool, and its use requires responsibility. Always exercise good judgment, as your posts are public and permanent.

Key Principles:

  1. Use Good Judgment: Assume everything you post is public and permanent.
  2. Understand Social Media: This includes blogs, social networks (e.g., Twitter, Facebook), and other online platforms.
  3. Comply with Company Policies: Ensure your posts align with company policies and avoid discriminatory, harassing, or unlawful content.
  4. Be Careful: You are personally responsible for your posts. The company is not liable for any errors or damages resulting from your online activity.
  5. Speak for Yourself: Clearly state that your views are personal, not the company’s.
  6. Be Respectful: Avoid malicious, obscene, or defamatory content. Respect others’ privacy and maintain professionalism.
  7. Be Honest: Correct mistakes promptly and ensure accuracy in all posts.
  8. Respect Laws: Do not disclose confidential or sensitive information without authorization.
  9. Report Concerns: Report any policy violations to Human Resources without fear of retaliation.
